BEEF We keep Galloway cattle, a traditional hill breed, as a cross which is slower to mature but produces tremendous meat. We also have a herd of Highland cattle. In the summer they roam the hill pastures. In the winter they eat silage, which we cut ourselves and is free of additives, or feed cake which comes from a Farm Assured supplier. We hang our beef for three weeks for full flavour and texture. All the cutting and preparation is done here at Glenfernate, so everything we sell . |

The cuts we produce range from fillet through topside to Braising steak, mince and sausages. Through this internet site you can review our products, then phone to order our special mixed cuts pack, sample quantites at our regular prices, to demonstrate to you our range of high quality produce. As with all our orders, it will be delivered to your door and is at prices which compare favourably with good retail butchers Our regular prices for individual cuts are as below. Delivery by carrier in mainland Britain is free for orders over £180. You may of course mix meats in an order. |
