All the lamb that we sell comes from our own flock of Scottish Blackface. These hardy
sheep live out on the hills, and the lambs are then fattened on grass and fodder
rape. In the winter they have a supplement of sugar beet pulp. A few of the lambs
are Hampshire Down cross out of the farm’s flock, kept to produce an early spring
lamb.
As with the cattle, the whole life-cycle of the sheep is under our direct control,
giving you the assurance of healthy and natural meat which has been properly prepared.
